Lady gaga left her poker face at home when it came time to pay tribute to Alexander McQueen.Onstage to accept for Best International Breakthrough Act, the first of the field-leading three gongs she took home Tuesday at the Brit Awards in London, the masked chanteuse's voice was husky with emotion when she mentioned the late disigner.
"Thank you to Lee McQueen," she said, using the lobster-boot-fashioning icon's real first name.
Aside from her tiered outfit and Marie-Antoinette-on-steroids wig, Lady Gaga toned down her scheduled performance of "Poker Face," going without her backup dancers for a more sedate medley of "Telephone" and "Dance in the Dark," which she dedicated to McQueen.
Not that she didn't cry a few tears of happiness, as well...
"I was really excited to win the first two awards. This award means even more to me because I worked so hard on this album for so long," she said upon accepting the Brit for Best International Album for The Fame.

Capping a Valentine's weekend in style, Richie announced during Monday's taping of the Late Show With David Letterman that, after three years of courtship, two children and one confused lawyer, she and her rocking beau are finally ready to walk the aisle.

The Late Show episode is set to air on Friday. There was no immediate comment from their rep, and the duo has yet to tweet out the good news.

Richie, 28, and Madden, 30, have been planning their wedding before the birth of daughter Harlow in 2007. Apparently with the birth of son Sparrow last September, the couple figured it was time to ramp things up.

The supermodel sparked rumors of impending nuptials after she sported a ring on her left hand Monday evening at a charity dinner in Germany. They were there for the Cinema for Peace Gala 2010 exhibition at the Berlin Film Festival. (His mom came, too.)

But a source close to the Shutter Island star tells E! News DiCaprio didn't celebrate Valentine's Day by popping the question, and the dynamic duo is definitely not engaged.

In other words, it's a false alarm, folks.

"They're hooking up," an insider said, "but they're keeping it low-key."
Not so low-key that they haven't been seen in public, however. The pair, who both became single late last year, were first spotted at dinner at Koi on Feb. 4. According to a restaurant source, the "Sk8ter Boi" warbler and 26-year-old hunk left together in the same car and drove to club Voyeur.
They were last seen out again on Thursday, back at Voyeur, where they partied all night.

Fashion Icon Alexander McQueen Found Dead

xpect to see a lot more black during Fashion Week. Specifically, more avant-garde, über-fashionable and trendsetting black, in honor of British fashion designer and icon Alexander McQueen, who was found dead this morning in his London home.

"At this stage it is inappropriate to comment on this tragic news beyond saying that we are devastated and are sharing a sense of shock and grief with Lee's family," said a statement released by his office, referring to him by his real name.

Specifically, his camp is not confirming or commenting on widespread reports that the 40-year-old committed suicide , though Scotland Yard said it is not treating the death as suspicious.

"Lee's family has asked for privacy in order to come to terms with this terrible news and we hope the media will respect this."

The death of the go-to celebrity designer comes just days before the start of London Fashion Week and, perhaps tellingly, just days after the death of his beloved mother.

"I'm letting my followers know the my mother passed away yesterday if it she had not me nor would you RIP mumxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx," the designer wrote on his since shuttered Twitter account last Wednesday.

"But life must go on!!!!!!!!!!!!"

A few days later, he spoke of his life's stresses.

"Sunday evening been a f--king awful week but my friends have been great but now I have to some how pull myself together and finish," he wrote of his forthcoming show at Paris Fashion Week.

A longtime fashion innovator, the London-born McQueen got his start on the tony Savile Row, where he made custom suits for none other than Prince Charles and Mikhail Gorbachev.

The four-time British Designer of the Year, Commander of the British Empire and International Designer of the Year, who was known as both the "enfant terrible" of the fashion world as well as the "hooligan of English fashion," quickly became a celebrity favorite.

"He was the most brilliant designer of his generation and his influence can be seen in the way that women dressed over the last 15 years," British Vogue's editor-in-chief, Alexandra Shulman, said in a statement. "It is an incredible loss not only for British fashion but for fashion the world over."

A spokesman for London's Metropolitan Police said they were called to McQueen's house just after 10 a.m. this morning. Paramedics declared him dead upon their arrival, but did not address reports that his cause of death was hanging.

"A post mortem examination and inquest will take place in due course," they said. "The death is being treated as non-suspicious."

McQueen's showing at New York Fashion Week, scheduled for today at 3 p.m., has since been canceled.

Exploding with excessively vibrant colors, the new video for her song "Rude Boy" seems inspired by the work of the late great Andy Warhol. Whether or not he's rolling over in his grave right now is unclear.

What we do know for sure is Rihanna has also infused this sexually charged clip with plenty of booty-shaking and come-hither looks. Not to mention several opportunities for the male viewer to question his manhood as she sings lyrics like, "Come here rude boy, boy, is you big enough?," while riding such well-endowed mammals as a lion and a zebra.

How Long Can Desperate Housewives Last?

Unlike so many shows that launch powerfully and then flag in later years, Desperate Housewives is midway through season six and going strong. Creator Marc Cherry has promised to stick around for the foreseeable future, but what about the show's leading ladies, including Teri Hatcher, Marcia Cross, Eva Longoria Parker and Felicity Huffman?

We just caught up with the cast at the StandUp for Kids-L.A. benefit at the G2 Gallery in Los Angeles, and dreamboat James Denton told us the latest scoop on the cast's contract negotiations:

Felicity Huffman recently told a British paper, "I would like it if [Desperate Housewives] goes on for 10 years because it's a dream job. I'm going to do Desperate Housewives until I'm a desperate old biddy. People will say, 'The only actress who stayed was Felicity Huffman, and she needs a [walker]!" So is there any reason the show couldn't last a decade or more?

Well, according to Denton, "The women are the ones who have to sign up. Whatever they slide across the table, I'll sign." We love a man who's easy!

Denton continued, "Honestly, I say that jokingly, but I really am kind of curious, because it's almost time to start renegotiating with the women. And I really hope they all feel the same way as Felicity, because it is such a fun show."

But what are the realistic prospects of keeping hot properties like Eva Longoria Parker tied down for four or more years? Said Denton, "The women can all, of course, do whatever they want, career-wise, so we may not be able to keep them all, but we really don't have a show without them, so I'm glad she feels that way, because I think 10 is a nice number."

In fact, Lauper even says she could see it happening one day.

"Everybody is on her right now, so I would wait and do it when things calm down a bit," Lauper told me earlier today. "She's very busy. She likes to jet in, do it, and leave and go on to the next thing she's gotta do. I think it's great."

The two star in M.A.C Cosmetic's latest Viva Glam campaign for the MAC AIDS Fund. "I've always wanted to be a Viva Glam girl," Lauper says.

Sales of new lipsticks created by the singers for the makeup giant (light coral red from Lauper and light blue-pink from Gaga) benefit the fund, which has raised more than $150 million in the fight against HIV/AIDS since it was started in 1994.

"You can abstain or be monogamous—which I think is a good idea—but some people aren't," Lauper says. "That doesn't mean you don't have to be safe though...Be aware. Be educated. Put the lipstick on and use it as a reminder."

P.S.: It's not like Lauper isn't busy herself. Not only does she appear on the upcoming season of The Celebrity Apprentice, but she's going to be releasing a blues album, is working on her memoir and is also writing the music for a musical stage adaptation of the movie Kinky Boots.

Céline Dion Readies for Another Titanic Vegas Show

Things aren't all frowns for Céline Dion. She's taking over Las Vegas yet again!

The Canadian songbird is returning to the Colosseum at Caesars Palace for another three-year residency. She'll be bringing a full orchestra and band and a classic Hollywood movie romance theme to the stint scheduled to kick off March 15, 2011.

"I'm coming back home...and I'm very excited about it," the 41-year-old said in a statement. "The repertoire is going to be extraordinary…a mix of timeless Hollywood classics, along with the favorites that my fans like to hear me sing. It's going to be a very beautiful show, and I think we'll be raising the bar higher than we've ever done before."

Tickets for the first 54 performances go on sale on Ticketmaster Friday at 10 a.m.

Between rehearsals, continuing in vitro fertilization treatments and talking about both—as she already has with Oprah Winfrey and People—Céline is one busy mama!

Ellen Gets Idol Dancing (With a Little Help From Paula)

All American Idol needed was Ellen Degeneres and Paula Abdul.

On a night featuring DeGeneres' judging debut, as well as a swingin' acoustic rendition of Abdul's "Straight Up," Idol rebounded and reached its biggest audience since premiere night: 27.7 million, per preliminary estimates.

See what happens when people come together?

Well, all right, Abdul, who left idol last summer, was only there in spirit, via hopeful Andrew Garcia's crafty redo of the pop star's signature 1980s hit.

If viewers missed Abdul, they sure didn't diss DeGeneres.

Last night's show was up 3 million sets of eyeballs from the previous Tuesday, and up 1 million from last year's first Hollywood Week episode.

Which, of course, featured the real-and-in-person Abdul.

A show rep and inside sources confirm that the former Saturday Night Live funnylady is set to join Glee at the end of the season—but her character won't be jumping on the Cheerios train anytime soon.
Here's what we're hearing about Molly and her soon-to-be-nemesis, Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch)...
Sources confirm EW.com's report that Molly will play "Brenda Castle, the busty 45-year old new astronomy teacher and badminton coach at McKinley High School who is both an alcoholic and a pill-popper." Word is, Molly's character will exchange a few vocal jabs with Sue Sylvester. (Shocker!)
Despite EW's report that Molly has been cast in a recurring role, insiders who work on the show tell me she has only been written into one episode so far—but assuming things go well, there may be more.
Molly also can sing (which you may know from her awesome duets with Will Ferrell on SNL), but so far,  according to my moles, there are no plans for her character to flex her pipes on the show.
Should we start a campaign? Probably not—you know, those Glee bosses sort of know what they're doing.
Are you excited to see Molly on Glee? Is she a good new love interest for Mr. Shue (Matthew Morrison)? He does like the crazies!

Rumor has it clothing designer extraordinaire Marc Jacobs is engaged to his Brazilian ad exec boyfriend Lorenzo Martone. Lorenzo is a strategic planner at Chandelier Creative, the agency whose tagline is, “Come sparkle.” Right?

Naomi Judd Steps Up to Defend Taylor Swift

Forget the haters:Taylor swift is awesome.

But don't take our word for it (or the word of any girl aged 8-18). Take Naomi Judd's.

In the wake of some mild haterade directed at at Swift's Grammy night performance , Judd has come to the young singer's defense, penning a letter to the editor of the Tennessean, lambasting the cynics and praising Swift for not only having "single-handedly introduced country music to a much-welcomed younger demographic" but for serving as a "sorely needed role model."

"Remember the puzzles, 'What's wrong with this picture?' " writes Judd. "You search for faults, ignoring the overall picture."

Swift, Judd continues, "not only sings well enough to strike a chord with a huge audience...she writes, dances, acts, and is a dazzling performer. Taylor is the best-dressed young female artist today, in league with Hollywood's most glamorous stars."

Can't say we disagree.

"When I met her, I was impressed by her sincere transparent niceness. Taylor's a lovely young lady...Smarts, manners, and class...If there's an award for being the best role model for her generation, I'd like to be the one to give it to Taylor Swift."

It's safe to say Judd's a fan, then. But as for the heart of the matter...

Howard Stern to American Idol: Pay Up and I'll Judge!

Fox may want to invest in a quick-triggered bleep button.

Rumors that Howard Stern is considering taking Simon Cowell's soon-to-be-vacant seat on American Idol are true! The shock jock confirmed the buzz yesterday on his Sirius radio show.

"There's not a better job on the planet than judging that f--king karaoke contest," he said. "It might be possible, we'll see. They'd have to pay me a ton of dough because I already make a ton of dough."

Given that Stern's $500 million contract with Sirius is up at the end of the year, the reality show really would have to come up with a ton of dough. Some reports even speculated that Stern was being offered a number that matched his radio gig.

"A $100 million to judge a karaoke contest? Yeah, I would do that show for $100 million," he said, according to the wrap. "It would be the best thing that happened to me. What a cush job—$100 million for four months! Who wouldn’t take that?”

Not only is the King of All Media confident about his chances at cashing in big-time, but he's not too worried about filling Cowell's big, albeit cranky, shoes.

"If I do say so myself, I can't imagine anyone else but me replacing him," Stern said. "I mean, I don't know. How else are they going to make that show work? Who knows how to broadcast and who knows how to be interesting? And who's not afraid to speak their mind?"

Of course, he would have some costars to contend with. Let's not forget who's making her series debut tonight.

Angelina Puts Her Self Where Her Money Is, Visits Haitian Survivors

Suing the pants off an international tabloid, cheering your team on to victory, engaging in rumor-breaking PDA, visiting survivors of the worst natural disaster in a nation's history…such is a week in the life of Angelina Jolie.

Fresh off her Saints' Super Bowl win, Brad Pitt's other half zipped down to the Dominican Republic yesterday in her role as Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. There's no word on how long Jolie's trip will last, but so far her itinerary has included visiting with displaced survivors of the still-devastating Haitian earthquake in the pediatric wing of Santo Domingo's Dario Contreras Hospital and meeting up with Dominican president Leonel Fernandez.

Not bad for day one. Jolie, who along with Pitt donated $1million to Doctors Without Borders, is expected to arrive in Port-au-Prince today. And that's something not even we can snark on.

After Going "Through Hell and Back," Brooke Moving Back in With Charlie

If Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller are going to reconcile, they're going to need some privacy.

Saying his client got "everything she wanted today," Mueller's attorney, Yale Galanter, tells E! News that the couple plan to return to their Los Angeles home.

"Brooke's desire was to get the order modified so they could have contact and communicate because of their children," the attorney said. "Judge Boyd was gracious enough to grant that and now Charlie and Brooke are on their way back to L.A. to continue their lives."

Sheen and Mueller have not cohabitated since a temporary restraining order was put in place following Sheen's arrest for allegedly attacking his wife on Christmas Day.

"We need to give them a chance to be alone and catch up on everything that has happened over the last couple of months," Galanter said. "We'll see what happens."

So far, all we know is that Sheen's camp has to come up with a legal strategy.

The Two and a Half Men star was charged with third-degree assault and criminal mischief, both misdemeanors, and one count of felony menacing today. He's due back in Aspen court for arraignment on March 15.

Galanter told E! that he does not know whether Mueller plans to accompany Sheen to Colorado next month.

Again, Mueller just wants to piece her life back together.

"This girl has been through hell and back since December 25th," Galanter said. "The assault on the 25th, not being able to get the order modified, wisdom teeth surgery, an infection that went into her blood stream, develops pneumonia, then she just wants to get out and take a couple of days to herself and all these rumors start flying about drug rehab."

Only when Mueller was hospitalized was Sheen allowed to see her.

"She was thrilled to see him," Galanter told E! News. "When someone is as sick as she was, getting the dire prognosis she was, all the support she could get was well received."

Sheen moved back into their L.A. home to be with the kids after Mueller was released from the hospital and went with her mother to North Carolina to rest up at a secluded treatment facility, prompting speculation that she was rehabbing.

"They did a lot of pilates, a lot of yoga, massages, ate well," Galanter said. I think she feels much better, she looks great. She has that healthy glow about her and is doing really well."

That's the word from Kendra Wilkinson after she was accused of halting production on her E! Reality show Kendra. Supposedly she stopped filming because of the loss of her hubby's team in yesterday's Super Bowl.
"hahaha my show is filming me right now reading the article that I canceled my show," tweeted the reality star.
So why was she seen crying?
It wasn't the game, but the paparazzi.
"I wasn't cryin cuz of the damn game it's cuz the paparazzi have no soul..they wouldn't leave me n family alone!!!!" she tweeted.
"people like to twist this stuff..we asked them to stop cuz of the baby n they were way too close n they didn't care at allllllll," she continued. "not sayin im tryin to be private but there should be some law on how close they get to u n your child."
And then just as soon as this tempest had been tamed, Kendra's trademark humor was back on display.

Despite reports that Spears was "rushed" to the hospital today, her rep tells E! News she was simply there for a routine checkup.

"Everything is fine," says Spears' rep. "Britney is there for an annual physical."

Photogs claimed Brit-Brit was accompanied to UCLA Medical Center's Mattel Children's Hospital earlier today by two cars and a police escort.

And Perez Hilton had the Twitter world in a tizzy when he posted: "I'm hearing that @BritneySpears is in the emergency room right now. Hope it's nothing major and everything is okay! Maybe her kids?"

Imagine that, the blogosphere blowing something out of proportion.

Gary Coleman's Suckiest Birthday Ever

Instead of celebrating his 42nd year in style, Gary Coleman got to spend a chunk of his birthday today in a Utah court to answer for his arrest last month.

The Diff'rent Strokester pleaded guilty to one count of domestic violence criminal mischief and was fined $595 as part of a plea deal with prosecutors, a court clerk tells E! News. In return, the judge dismissed domestic violence assault charges against Coleman and suspended a 30-day jail sentence.

"I've been in better places on my birthday," Coleman told the Salt Lake Tribune before the hearing began.

The former child star was also given time served for the one and a half days he spent in the clink last month. Lastly, Coleman was put on a year's probation and will have to take part in a domestic-violence treatment program.

On Jan. 24, authorities responded to a 911 call about a "civil disturbance" at the Santaquin home shared by the pint-size actor and his wife of three years, Shannon Price. Although he wasn't charged for any crime related to that call, he was taken into custody once police found an outstanding warrant for skipping a court date stemming from an earlier domestic violence count.

Last August, the two got into a heated argument, which led to Price being arrested on suspicion of domestic violence and both her and Coleman cited for disorderly conduct. Coleman never showed up to face that charge, hence the warrant.

(Coleman and Price haven't exactly had a peaceful union; in 2007, he was slapped with a misdemeanor disorderly conduct citation after another fight with his missus.)

The actor spent a night in the slammer before the producer of his latest movie, Midgets vs. Mascots, paid $1,725 to bail him out. The bail came with a big string attached: In exchange for the cash, Coleman agreed to let filmmakers leave in a scene in which the actor briefly goes full monty.

An attorney for Coleman was unavailable for comment.

Cops: No One's Out to Get Charlie Sheen

That's the word from the man himself as well as law-enforcement sources investigating the early-morning theft of the Two and a Half Men star's Mercedes-Benz sedan, which later plunged off a cliff along Hollywood's famed Mulholland Drive into a ravine.

Sheen left the keys in the ignition—and the garage door open—as he often does after returning home from the set last night around 8 p.m.

Police say that the Benz-jacking had nothing to do with Sheen's fame for any kind of vendetta against the 44-year-old actor (in other words, Brooke Mueller is in the clear). It appears to be just a crime of opportunity.

"Charlie is fine," publicist Stan Rosenfield tells E! News.

Investigators are now considering the possibility that the vehicle might have been swiped by a gang of crooks operating in Sheen's gated community. Law-enforcement sources tell the Los Angeles Times that a string of garages in Sheen's neighborhood were also hit.

Why the thieves would drive an SUV off a cliff, however, remains a mystery. But authorities aren't discounting the theory that the perps were trying to destroy evidence.

"The fire companies that are around Mulholland and that area are very familiar with these types of rescues," says Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Cecco Secci. "I can't give a specific number, but I would say once a month." Things get even worse on the winding roads on rainy days like today.

But, Secci adds, there's usually a driver found. In this case, the vehicle was empty.

The second we heard both our E! stars Kim Kardashian and Kendra Wilkinson were heading to the Super Bowl with their men, we were kinda anxious. Ahhh—E! family sibling rivalry! Usually we try keep the sibling dramz within Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
But there's no way to avoid it. We're only two days away from the big showdown—Kendra and Hank and the Colts vs. Kim and Reggie and the Saints. Ryan Seacrest was able to get the two girls on the phone together during his KIIS-FM morning show just to see how things are going between the coworkers-turned-bitter-rivals.
Up until now they've just been twitter-taunting each other, so Ryan tried to really get some drama going.
Kim was happy to oblige, telling Kendra, "Let's meet up, and I'll poison your coffee, and you can give it to Hank."
But our former Girl Next Door didn't take the bait. She has more important things on her mind, like trying to figure out who will hold Baby Hank after the Colts win and she storms the field. And she's pretty sure the Colts will win, 27-17 to be exact.
So while the girls resolved all the imaginary tension, agreeing to go shopping together for some postgame lingerie, that doesn't mean you have to play nice. Vote for which team you're rooting for this Sunday!

All the women who are independent, throw your hands up at me! Especially, um, if your name happens to be Betty Suarez.

Ugly Betty is coming to an end this season, and sources are spilling that a wedding is in the works. So will it be Betty's? And what's in store for the other characters? Here's what I'm hearing...

Despite previous reports that the writers have been trying to decide whether Betty will end up with Gio, Daniel or Henry, I'm now told that, although nothing has been set in stone, they're leaning toward a Kelly Taylor-esque, "I choose me" ending that may end up sending Betty (America Ferrera) to a foreign land for a fabulous new job. She may even end up with an old friend there.

But wait a minute, what about all those cute boys we thought she'd end up with? After all, Betty ended up with Daniel (Eric Mabius) at the end of the original series.

"They probably aren't going to have Betty end up with Daniel," says one inside source.

"Some key people do not want that to happen."

Hmph!

So then who's in this wedding we're hearing of? I'm not at liberty to say, but I can tell you that someone other than Betty will get hitched. Someone you'll be very happy to see get a happy ending.

Betty will get her braces off.
Justin will kiss a boy.
Amanda will hook up with Daniel's half-brother.

"I said, 'Yes, I know her professionally. She's very nice.'...And then I immediately became the guy who slept with Angelina Jolie.

"I'm not a language coach," he explained. "She doesn't have a dialect in the movie; she speaks Russian. There were several people who taught her the language. I worked with a Polish actor, Daniel Olbrychski, on the movie to make his English better."

Plus, Samuelsohn added that he's been "with the same woman for 33 years."

Meanwhile, a rep for the Waldorf Astoria, where a housekeeper named Anna Kowalski supposedly told ITW she saw kinky evidence of the alleged tryst, has said that no such person works there.

But the magazine tells E! News that it's standing by its story, semantics aside, and that a source verified that Kowalski worked at the Waldorf over the summer.

"As In Touch Weekly originally reported, an ex-employee of the Waldorf-Astoria in New York told the magazine exclusively that Angelina Jolie cheated on Brad Pitt with one of her language tutors on the set of her movie Salt," a rep for ITW said in a statement, which modifies the job description of the purported lothario from the published text.

Hef explains that while his relationship with girlfriend Crystal Harris has been getting "more serious," the twins have expressed a lot of interest in doing more Playmate-related promotional work for the company...

Simon Cowell is leaving American Idol. 
No, really. It's official now and everything.
Simon just told reporters at the TV Critics Assocation winter press tour:
"There's been a lot of speculation [about my future], partly because we didn't have an agreement. We reached an agreement formally about half past 11 this morning. Where we have come to is that The X Factor will launch in America in 2011, with me judging the show and executive producing the show, and because of that, this will be my last season on American Idol this year."
Cowell then signed his X-Factor contract live onstage at press tour. So why is he leaving and who might replace him? Here's what we just learned from Cowell himself and his bosses at Fox...
First things first, The X Factor is a British-format reality talent competition produced and developed by...Simon Cowell! There are 17 international versions. It's not unlike American Idol or its British counterpart Pop Idol, but contestants of all ages are welcome, and the judges also do some mentoring as well as just critiquing. So what kind of stars are they trying to find?  Simon says, "Right now, Lady Gaga's got the biggest X factor in the world. We'd love to find somebody like her." The X Factor will air in the fall, while Idol will continue airing in the spring.
That's in Simon Cowell's future, but what about his past and present on American Idol? "I've always said this was my last year," Simon told us. "Everyone thought I was negotiating, but that wasn't the reason behind it. I felt like doing something different. I like the challenge. I want to leave Idol this year, bigger and better than it’s been before...I hope it's going to be higher than it was last year."
He says he's leaving now while the show remains on top: "I've had the best eight or nine years of my life doing this job...I never would have wanted to walk out when the show was number 21 in the ratings. I wanted to leave on a high. It's been a fantastic time.. I think right now America needs a second, different type of show, and I'm going to put my absolute heart and soul into this."
So who might take Simon's chair at the Idol judging table? Cowell's take is this: "I'm going to suggest that Ryan [Seacrest] does it, because he can have another job then—so he just jumps off the stage into the chair and back again...I say just get somebody who knows what they're talking about."
Fox entertainment chairman Peter Rice took a more serious approach to the question, but didn't actually profer any substantial names: "The reason we're making the announcement in January is we want to give ourselves time. We want to allow people to come forward, we were frankly surprised at the enthusiasm in replacing Paula [Abdul]—and when we we first started our conversations with Ellen [DeGeneres]. We have to take our time on that, we have to make sure the chemistry is as good as it can be, we want to take our time."

The BBC has released a trailer previewing its documentary, Lindsay Lohan In India, which chronicles the actress's weeklong visit in December http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20326926,00.html to investigate the trafficking of women and children.

After five seasons, two Daytime Emmy awards and too many girl-power episodes to count, Tyra Banks is announcing the end of The Tyra Show.

“This will be the last season of The Tyra Show,” Banks tells PEOPLE exclusively. “I’ve been loving having fun, coming into your living rooms, bedrooms, hair salons for the past 5 years.”

Wrapping at the end of its fifth season in the spring of 2010, it will be lights out for the show that brought viewers memorable weave-exposing, cellulite-revealing and tear-jerking moments.

Banks will focus on the launch of Bankable Studios, a N.Y.-based film production company currently reviewing possible projects. Sticking to her mission, Banks aims to bring “positive images of women to the big screen,” says an industry insider.

“My next huge steps will allow me to reach more women and young girls to help us all feel as fierce as we truly are,” Banks says.

Adds the insider: “Tyra is sad because she’ll be missing so much of the daily connection to her viewers, but excited at the same time to be taking on a new challenge.”

With encouragement from filmmaker Tyler Perry and longtime mentor Oprah Winfrey, Banks is “redefining beauty for women in film,” adds the source. “With Oprah’s big announcement this year, I think that gave Tyra the confidence to get out there and follow her longtime dream of film producing.”

But fashion fiends worry not. America’s Next Top Model is slated to return for its 15th season in February along with Banks’s ABC show True Beauty.

Charlie Sheen Jailed in Colorado on Domestic Violence Charges

Looks like he will be celebrating the holidays behind bars this year.

The Two and a Half Men star was arrested on domestic violence charges Friday morning in Aspen, Colorado, E! News confirms.

Details surrounding the arrest are currently under wraps, but a Pitkin County Police Department release states that Sheen was arrested under his given name, Carlos Irwin Estevez, on two felony charges, second-degree assault and menacing, and a misdemeanor charge of criminal mischief.

The actor is being held with no bond, and must remain in jail until his first court appearance, which has yet to be scheduled. Such practice is standard for the Colorado justice system.

Sheen's rep Stan Rosenfield tells E! News of today's events: "Do not be mislead by appearance. Appearance and reality can be as different as night and day. It would benefit everyone not to jump to any conclusion."

Sheen's wife Brooke Mueller is not named in the Pitkin press release, but according to the document an ambulance was called to the scene, but "the victim did not require transport to the hospital."

Additional information surrounding the arrest is expected to be released Saturday morning.
