will no longer be the face of St. John, the brand’s chief executive officer says.
Replacing Ang is British model Karen Elson (pictured), who will provide a more modern view of St. John, CEO Glenn McMahon told.
“[Angelina] overshadowed the brand,” Glenn explained. “We wanted to make a clean break from actresses and steer away from blondes and cleanse the palette.”
A company insider now tells E! News that Jolie had only signed a three-year contract, which was up in 2008 and that "St. John has maintained a friendly, positive relationship with Angelina Jolie throughout the years."
